DOMC Mastering
Great article on sample rates. sample rate
Hi Dominic,
I would like to thank you for the great job you have done mastering our music, we’ve had one song played on triple j so far and it won us a spot in Dalby One Night Stand gig.
You rock!
Got to love that!!! Well done Mace and the Motor.
Sometimes it’s hard to let go of cool toys. I’m fortunate to have some great tools for mastering….but this week I just couldn’t get a track right no matter what I did. I was using so much eq and multi band and nothing worked. Until I started again and just used a limiter. Then it was perfect. Sometimes u need to let go. You don’t always have to do something.
I really need to blog more. Been busy times lately. Ed G’s album is done Nd the test vinyl is on its way. Daze came through with some rock. Jason Delphin came in with electro country hillbilly. It was cool. LaTrobe records back in with some new tracks. Recording Oasis back in. I’m doing some recording with Little Scout for their second album. And heaps more coming.
I recently got to hear a mix from tall poppy productions. Great mix. Then I heard the background production details that went into it. Hot damn. Woody is an amazing muso and producer. His work turned a song into a hit.
It’s here finally.

From the band Tourism “Paint in colours’ was played today nationally on triple j, only 20hrs after going live on unearthed. And apparently got played around 7:30pm too. Nice one man! The mastering is perfect. Really happy we got it re-done”
